We just wanted to post some answers to some questions that have been spinning around out there! People lately are asking who is "Star Search"? Where did Stephanie come from?
Stephanie's a Tampa girl who worked her way through school, etc. by modeling in the 1980's, etc. Her main career path was advertising as a "mainstay", then evolved to event production when she launched FloridaJobLink.com, Florida's first employment web site...before there was a Monster. The success of the web site led to major job fairs and other events. Florida Job Link was the first company to ever hold a public event, (a major job fair featuring 70+ employers), at Raymond James Stadium when it first opened. For several years, she produced "Career SuperBowl" job fairs there in affiliation with the NFL. This all put her in the dot-com spotlight of the 90's "got her connected" with many television folks.
Currently, she does public relations and advertising. The pageants that are part of this work are usually community-based and have more of a "modeling" focus than most, although each one is different.
